Cancellation Policy

Buena Vida Surf School Policies 1. Everything Included – No Hidden Fees Your lesson includes the surfboard, instructor, and all the waves you can ride. All taxes and credit card fees are included. Bring water, a towel, and sunscreen for comfort. 2. Guaranteed Reservations Once you book and pay online, your lesson time is guaranteed. 3. Deposits and Payments A deposit is required to reserve your lesson. Deposits are refundable up to 24 hours before your lesson. You can reschedule depending on availability or surf conditions. 4. Rescheduling, Cancellations, and Late Arrivals If you need to reschedule, cancel, or will be late, call as soon as possible. We’ll try to accommodate you, but availability is not guaranteed. Late arrivals only receive the remaining time. Same-day rescheduling is considered a cancellation. If the instructor is available, you can purchase extra time. 5. Be Early Arrive 15 minutes before your lesson. Lessons are back to back, so being late shortens your session. Allow time for parking and beach access. 6. Cancellations and Refunds Full refund if canceled 24 hours in advance. Refunds are not automatic — call or email us. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice are non-refundable, but can be held as credit for a future lesson. 7. Weather and Surf Conditions Lessons run rain or shine unless conditions are unsafe. We’ll always choose the best available spot. No refunds for cloudy skies, cold water, or high tide. If conditions are unsafe, we’ll reschedule or refund. If we cancel within 24 hours, you’ll receive a full refund. 8. Time Zone and Location All bookings are in Central Standard Time (CST) and sync automatically with Google Calendar. Lessons meet at La Lancha Beach, Nayarit, Mexico. View on Google Maps 9. Safety and Conduct Surfing requires focus. If you arrive intoxicated, high, or severely hungover, your lesson will be canceled without refund. 10. Liability Waiver By joining a lesson with Buena Vida Surf School, you waive all legal claims against Buena Vida Surf School, its instructors, and the City of Puerto Vallarta for any injury, accident, or death during your lesson or while using our equipment. 11.
